The most recent addition to Nextech’s commitment to the environment has been the addition of Water Based finishes. Nextech has always maintained the highest quality of finishing on our furniture but now we are able to offer a product that is safe for the environment. Moving forward we will still offer the finishes that have been provided in the past but hope that more customers will insist on the more environmentally friendly finishes. Nextech has always maintained a policy of recycling whatever we can. All our scrap aluminum, steel, cardboard and packaging is 100% recycled. All of these have a place to go to be made into other products. We also in turn insist on using products that have a recycled content wherever possible.
Our standard laminates and Polyurethane Nosings are:
- Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified.
- Manufactured in facilities compliant with all environmental requirements.
- Comprised of renewable resources (up to 60%).
Our typical core materials are manufactured with:
- No-Added urea formaldehyde.
- Lowest formaldehyde emission available today.
- SCS & EPP certified to be 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber .
- Sustainable raw materials .
Our veneer and lumber is purchased only from suppliers committed to the sustainability of the world’s forests that practice controlled harvesting and reforestation for the sustainability of today’s forests. Many of Nextech’s products may qualify for LEED ID credits in certain desking applications. Please contact your sales representative or dealer for more information.
